I was a H1Z1 Just Survive player and it went to the liquor store and never came back. Years later I met Miscreated and it took me in with open arms. The game is great the Devs are awesome and talk to the players. Now, you need to be patient when starting the game and just walk around for a couple of hours trust me it will help in the long run. There is a kinda big learning curve and once you get around it you will be good. The game is awesome the Devs work on it everyday an lately have been coming out with a big update like every 2 weeks. The weather in this game is awesome and add depth to the game like no other. If you buy this game it will be worth every cent. I have seen what this game really has to offer and with the updates and just stuff that i still have not seen in the game everyday I find something new and fun to do. PLAY WITH FRIENDS! the game is a lot more fun with a group. Have fun killing!. Excellent game, should be more active than it is. Can be difficult when first starting out, but gets easier over time. I suggest starting on PVE server till you understand how things work and get a feel for the game. Starting in an Offical server is just a nightmare, because everyone you run into would rather kill you than help you and then have the enviroment and the monsters trying to kill you before you get settled. I love that they keep updating the game frequently, adding new content, to keep the old players invested. I've played about 500 hours, and worth every penny. It can get annoying being killed on official servers, but they're plenty of PVE servers to play on as well. Personally like "Nevermore PVE servers" they're good place to start out and good, friendly people. They've added more space with furnaces and fireplace, so that's bonus. I actually quit the offical servers because I was annoyed that I spent hours looting only for somebody to tear up my base and steal all stuff. Since the patches it doesn't happen as frequently and I think it's because it's easier to find things, also you can store a lot in the kiosk. Also not really worth the time and effort to bust into a base anymore. I like the respawn at base think that was a great idea, and happy to play, many more hours to come, with friends and family. So enjoy the game, and good luck with your survival.. This game has blown me away honestly for a survival game. I've starved to death, died of thirst, froze solid trying to build a fire, been torn apart by a pack of wolves, made my last stand against a wondering hoard of mutants\/zombies. Bled out in the back room of a long forgotten house in the woods. Don't believe the negative reviews posted by people who think a survival is building a base and having it fully stocked all within a hour of game play. Hands down I've had a complete blast on here with firends and making new ones. Progress wise with the game is slow on the dev side but it is fantastic, they still work on it and I hope one day they pick up some steam on it and focus more on it to finish cause they have a great great product here.. This is the first review I've ever written for a game on steam. When I first tried to play, I can't remember how long ago, it was simply unplayable either due to poor optimization or my computer not being up to snuff. I expected this game to be forgotten about and die like all the other early access games in this genre. I was pleasantly surprised that the developers have continued working on it. I don't play it much, but every update I'll hop on for an hour or two and check it out. I consider this the best game in the zombie survival genre. It doesnt do anything extremely amazing, but it does a lot of things well. I've had very few issues with the servers the last few months, very few gamebreaking glitches, not very many noticeable hackers. There's a bit of grinding, but its not needed to enjoy the game.Now to my least favorite part. The community, at least on the servers I've played on, is absolutely miserable. KOS almost every time I see someone, even if I freshly spawned and clearly have nothing of value. The only times I haven't been immediately killed have been when new players that had just spawned for the first time have interacted with me. Despite this, I still have had a great time playing this game. Decent gunplay, decent crafting, good looting, very good graphics(they just work for me, not photorealistic or anything), very good sounds(except for a few poor choices, that may or may not have been fixed since I last checked) and continued developer involvement have made this a game I will always come back to when I'm looking for a relaxing walking simulator that is sometimes interrupted by tense moments of "fear" as you're being pursued by a pack of mutants or hiding from a well-equipped 14 year old.Overall, solid game.
